Grade II full house refurbishment

This project entails a thoughtful restoration and improvement of a Grade II listed property located in Melksham. The refurbishment will respect the building’s historic character while introducing modern enhancements for comfort and efficiency.


Key elements include a rear extension and a covered outdoor storage area, addressing roof integrity and insulation, and restoring or replacing timber windows. A particular focus will be placed on structural improvements, such as repointing the rear wall and addressing sagging ceilings.


Sustainability is at the forefront, with plans to enhance airtightness and energy performance wherever possible. We will use natural insulation and materials that ensure the fabric of the building remains breathable and able to deal with moisture effectively.


Given the property’s listed status, we providing planning consultancy to obtain conservation area and listed building consent. This renovation balances historical sensitivity with modern functionality, delivering a thoughtfully upgraded and character-rich home.
