Heritage renovation

This project focused on reimagining the ground floor of a large detached family home to create a functional, welcoming space tailored to the needs of a modern family. Key elements include redesigning the kitchen as a bright, garden-connected space that seats ten, integrating utility and pantry areas for efficient storage, and enhancing flow between the sitting room, kitchen, and outdoor spaces.


Traditional architectural features are preserved while addressing practical challenges like damp walls and cold rooms. The project also explores options for a verandah, enhancing outdoor living while maintaining privacy and aesthetic harmony with the house.


Thoughtful design principles aim to maximise natural light and connectivity, creating a warm and flexible living environment. Sustainability is prioritised with insulation enhancements and energy-efficient solutions. With a focus on comfort, style, and functionality, this design will transform the property into a beautifully cohesive and practical home.
