Manor Terrace home refurbishment

This project involved a considered redesign of a home’s ground floor to enhance functionality and bring the space up to modern standards of living. The brief includes creating a larger, well-connected kitchen, optimising the sunroom, and preserving a separate, inviting sitting room.

Various design options were tabled, ranging from a substantial extension to achieve a spacious family area, to medium or no-extension plans, balancing costs with spatial efficiency.

The preferred design provided a semi-open layout, practical utility spaces, and improved access to the garden while retaining garage functionality. These proposals emphasised flexibility, practicality, and aesthetic coherence, ensuring the home adapts to the clients’ needs and budget.
