Functional, aesthetic and energy enhanced learning
This project involves the refurbishment of a teaching block at Edgbarrow School to improve functionality, aesthetics, and energy performance. The works include replacing the curtain walling and external facades with robust and cost-effective materials, refurbishing food technology rooms with new fittings and finishes, and upgrading internal space layouts for better utility.
The project also focuses on enhancing the thermal performance and fire safety of the building. The scope of work extends to detailed design packages for curtain walls, external and internal walls, ceilings, flooring, and door specifications. Careful coordination with structural and mechanical consultants ensures seamless integration of systems such as ventilation, lighting, and emergency escapes. The refurbishment prioritises high-quality finishes and compliance with regulatory standards, creating an improved, efficient, and durable environment for the school’s activities.
