Vernham Grove

A project to redesign the ground floor of a home to maximize space and efficiency. Noteworthy features include a spacious entrance hall, utility room, larder placement, and enhanced living, dining, and kitchen spaces overlooking the garden. The exterior makes use of hung tile; a robust, low cost, beautiful and quick build solution. The roof is orientated north/south; allowing for rooflights on the northern side of the property and scope to install an accessible solar photovoltaic array on the south. South facing glazing is shaded by a roof overhang to limit overheating risk.

Combe Down

A project to substantially remodel the ground floor of a semi-detached home into a large and spacious family home. Works included a large family room (kitchen, living and dining spaces), a utility, refitting the garage and installing a downstairs WC. The loft was also converted as part of the works.

Manor Terrace

Many of our clients come to us with looking for ideas. We respond with a concept design report; detailing two or three options that could be done with the space to make the best use of the budget available. On this project, we re-worked the existing ground floor of a house and added a small extension (only 5m²) to give the clients a large family room from a modest budget.
